Camping Ski Basin, Santa Fe, New Mexico
Camping Ski Basin, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Nice hike with two of my best friends -- Woodyman and Mo.
I had purchased this Black Diamond four season tent, and I wanted to try it out. Hiking to the to top, I set camp and tent. Intention was only one night stay.
This was back in 2008. Today, thinking about my tent purchase, I wouldn't have purchased an expensive tent. Because, there are instances, when I'm not always around the tent, and someone would borrow it for an extended period of time. I would be without a tent.
No money, because of this expensive tent purchase, I didn't have any money, so buying another tent was out the question. The tent was never borrowed, but, because of this money situation, I took down the tent carrying it with me everywhere -- big pain.
Today, I buy inexpensive tents, so if someone does borrow my tent, then I wouldn't have an issue purchasing another tent
